Young Thug Uses Slime Language 3 to Rebuild YSL Around a New Generation

Young Thug is rebuilding YSL by putting a new generation at the center.

Slime Language 3 is a 41-track compilation split between a harder “Side A” and a more melodic “Side B,” with artists like Tezzus, diamond, Sk8star, Pz’, and Biggs money* helping define the label’s next phase.

Pitchfork frames the album as a document of YSL’s post-RICO reconstruction, with Thug taking on more of a mentor and executive role while still appearing throughout the project himself.

Rather than trying to recreate the old YSL roster, the compilation focuses on expanding the circle and giving newer Atlanta and underground voices more space.
