Macklemore Dropped From Ed Sheeran Tour After Pro-Palestine Statements

Macklemore has been dropped from upcoming dates on Ed Sheeran’s U.S. tour after making pro-Palestine statements during his opening performances.

At MetLife Stadium, the rapper used part of his set to call for a “Free Palestine” and later defended his comments by saying his message was about peace and equal rights, not hostility toward Jewish people.

The remarks drew both support and criticism, with some groups calling for his removal from the tour. Rolling Stone later reported that Macklemore would no longer appear on the remaining dates.
