Jhené Aiko Returns With Westside Whimsy, Her First Album in Six Years

Jhené Aiko is back with her first studio album in six years.

Westside Whimsy is a 20-track project featuring Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, Tyga, Larry June, and OHMA, with longtime collaborators Fisticuffs and Lejkeys handling much of the production.

The album pulls from ’90s music and Aiko’s California roots, especially West Coast car culture, surfing, beaches, and road-trip imagery. Kendrick reunites with Aiko on “So Good,” marking their first collaboration in more than a decade.
