Hiero Day is back for another Bay Area celebration of independent hip-hop culture.
This year’s event takes place September 7 at The Midway in San Francisco, with Hieroglyphics, Killer Mike, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and Mereba among the headliners.
Founded around the legacy of Oakland collective Hieroglyphics, the festival has grown into a wider platform for rap, DJ culture, community, and Bay Area music history.
The 2026 edition also comes as Hiero Day expands beyond Northern California, with additional events tied to Los Angeles and Vancouver.
