Hayden Panettiere’s Death Investigation Centers on Suspected Fentanyl-Laced Oxycodone

New details have emerged in the investigation into Hayden Panettiere’s death.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that investigators believe the actress may have taken an oxycodone pill laced with fentanyl shortly before she died. The DEA is now involved in tracing where the suspected pill came from.

Panettiere died on August 16 at age 36 after being found unresponsive in South Carolina. An autopsy reportedly found no signs of physical trauma, while toxicology results remain pending and the investigation is ongoing.
